Spring

Spring is coming! The snow is melting, we have an abundance of mud in Minnesota, and the temperature is rising to such a high temperature that car engines now turn over without a problem, you can feel your ears and nose while walking outside, and you don't have to keep your phone next to your body to keep the battery from freezing and dying. Spring is a wonderful thing...

Minnesotans take warmth very seriously. It's only legitimately warm for a few months. It's supposed to be 50 degrees next week and I'm anticipating the multitudes of northerners brandishing coral shorts, sandals, and graphic t-shirts. Life is good here.

Also, I have the pleasure of heading out to the park later to capture adorable photos of a young family who is expecting a new baby NEXT. WEEK. I'm so happy for them!
Before I sign off, I just want to thank the people who encouraged me to start pursuing a photography  career, and the people who share my name with their friends, and the people who share every single Facebook post I put out. I'm so thankful for you all. You made this little dream possible. I'm so blessed.
